I like: CONTRASTS – the sacred and the profane, the traditional and the radical. The smell of incense in old churches and cigarette smoke in underground clubs. The taste of wild strawberries from my grandmother's garden and cheap vodka from a student dorm.
I don't like: Superficiality in all its forms. People who think pierogi are just food. Summer crowds in Zakopane.Being told to "be realistic". The sound of alarm clocks. Anyone who dismisses Slavic magic as superstition.
